Presbyterian School, housed in First Presbyterian Church in the Museum District of Houston, was land-locked, so they went off campus to build their athletic field. The facility provides areas for environmental learning, sports, athletics, nature trails, play areas, and outdoor worship. The purpose of the center is to help emphasize the importance of conservation and environmental science outside of the traditional classroom. The outdoor education building includes a pavilion and outdoor education area, two athletic fields, track, outdoor chapel, nature garden areas, cross-country trail, and play area.
