Alley Theatre Renovation

Cultural/Community, Renovation

Bellows is responsible for building the original downtown Alley Theatre in 1968, the restoration/renovation in 2015, and the Hurricane Harvey recovery in 2017. The significant 102,030-sf restoration/renovation project included lobby renovations, new skyline view, new four-story fly loft, a fully trapped stage floor, state-of-the-art lighting/sound/electrical enhancements, a fiber optic network, a new catwalk, expanded restrooms, and theatre seating renovations. The concrete building exterior was also cleaned to give the facility a fresh look.
